Fic in a Box 2023 Letter

Some of this is copied from previous letters, and I am also happy with what I asked for in my previous letters. I am very easy to please. Think of the prompts as vague suggestions to get your ideas flowing. As a rule, as long as the relationships I request are the focus, I’m going to be thrilled with whatever you come up with. I have received some wonderful gifts for many of these requests in the past. If I am requesting them again, it only means I am greedy and want more! (Seriously, go see my Gifts page. I have been spoiled rotten!) Don't read into some requests being longer than others. For some things, my entire request can be boiled down to, "Pretty! Want!"

Art likes: My taste in fanart runs to the very broad. If you draw it/mix it/stitch it/paint it, I will like it. Some additional likes if you need some: bright colors with clear lines, black and white, heavily stylized such as Art Deco or playing cards, complex backgrounds, blank backgrounds, unusual page structure, shadows and shading, photorealistic, chibis, women with muscle definition, props, background animals, background plants, stained glass, marginalia in old books, would love a wedding photo-style picture for any of my requests either "staged" or "candid," character portraits, Rule 63 takes on requested characters (this is an art-only like, please no unrequested Rule 63 for fic).

Apparently I now ship these two like it's my job. Any AU where Mayday isn't dead by the end of his first episode would be great. Any AU where it turns out they knew each other back on Kamino would also be great. Maybe a tell-all tabloid article from the underground holo news outlet where Crosshair goes to share his story after everything, and it keeps going back to this great guy he met. Fanart about their contrasts, given how different Crosshair is from Regs, and how Mayday has grown into his own person despite being a Reg (from Crosshair's POV this is weird).
Omega & Wrecker (SW:TBB)
Their relationship gives me life. I will take a million vignettes about their interactions, about how she grows up and he grows old, and they both remain young at heart. Maybe a list of things Omega and Wrecker are no longer allowed to do together because they drive Hunter crazy when they do.

I love these two as friends. I love these two picking up after the war and dating, or being each other's first girlfriend at like sixteen. I am not a fan of epistolary but something about the transmissions they send back and forth to each other over the years would be welcome, or General Syndulla receiving a series of exasperated complaint reports about Omega's team over the years, or the two of them go on a mission together when they're teens and when they go to say what happened they have very different accounts of what the Empire/monster did. I am fine with trans girl Omega headcanon or not but prefer the story not focus on that past "yep, this is a thing, who wants waffles?")

Speaking of adventures, I would love to see these three on a mission for the Rebellion together, or spend time together after the war. I low-key ship Sabine and Leia if you want to go there. A mission report could be fun, or a Holonews article excerpt talking about the women of the Rebellion.
Poe Dameron (SWST)/Jacen Syndulla (SWR)
I firmly believe these two dated at some point, and it was not necessarily the best idea either one ever had. Maybe Jacen was in the NR Navy with Poe for a while. Maybe Jacen drops back into Poe's life after Exegol, bringing chaos with him.
WB: Galactic History As Folk Memory (SW AMT)
I would love to see more along the lines that we got at the end of TLJ and in TROS about the adventures of the characters and stories from the Clone Wars era and after retold generations later by people who didn't have all the pieces of the story. Weave in classic hero myths, trickster stories, quasi-religious, or a mishmash of all in skewed images and creepypastas and propaganda soaked histories where the story we know is just recognizable if you know what to look for.

Not to be spoilery about "Ahsoka" but damn the first episode had "bad breakup" written all over it and I am for everything that led up to their breakup, and everything after where they reconcile. I also love Sabine's history with Ketsu, and I'd love to see their early days together, or their later reconnection while Sabine is working with Ahsoka, or even after when Thrawn's dealt with.
Additional note having now watched all of "Ahsoka": I loved it. Feel free to incorporate as much as you'd like, or ignore what you'd rather ignore.
Kanan Jarrus/Hera Syndulla & Sabine Wren (SW: Rebels)
Sabine's early days on the Ghost had to be rough. She'd already lost her home, broken up with Ketsu, and had been left for dead, very possibly right before they found her. How did things go? How did Kanan and Hera convince her to trust them enough to come live with them? What does she think about her adopted parents later when she's on her own?

All I want is to watch these two work together and also argue about how to raise Sabine, good decisions and bad.

I am always a sucker for parent-child interactions, whether that's when the kid is a toddler or when the kid is old enough to go off to college and/or start a family. What kinds of lessons does Jacen carry forward from his mother, from stories about his father (or in an AU where Kanan lives, things he learned from him directly)? Fanart of his baby pictures, or racy tabloid speculations about his origins, or his report cards from nursery school, or the day he brings home his first boyfriend to meet his mother and his dad's Force Ghost.

Not to be spoilery about "Ahsoka" but damn the first episode had "bad breakup" written all over it and I am for everything that led up to their breakup, and everything after where they reconcile. I also love Sabine's history with Ketsu, and I'd love to see their early days together, or their later reconnection while Sabine is working with Ahsoka, or even after when Thrawn's dealt with.
Additional note having now watched all of "Ahsoka": I loved it. Feel free to incorporate as much as you'd like, or ignore what you'd rather ignore.

Sabine's early days on the Ghost had to be rough. She'd already lost her home, broken up with Ketsu, and had been left for dead, very possibly right before they found her. How did things go? How did Kanan and Hera convince her to trust them enough to come live with them? What does she think about her adopted parents later when she's on her own?

I am always a sucker for parent-child interactions, whether that's when the kid is a toddler or when the kid is old enough to go off to college and/or start a family. What kinds of lessons does Jacen carry forward from his mother, from stories about his father (or in an AU where Kanan lives, things he learned from him directly)? Fanart of his baby pictures, or racy tabloid speculations about his origins, or his report cards from nursery school, or the day he brings home his first boyfriend to meet his mother and his dad's Force Ghost.

I have a lot of prompts from a lot of previous letters on my journal. Basically I'm not a fan of angst for these two and I would not like to see them broken up by anything other than the big explosion. Pretty much anything else is good.
