May the Fourth 2025 Letter

Some of this is copied from previous letters, and I am also happy with what I asked for in my previous letters. I am very easy to please. Think of the prompts as vague suggestions to get your ideas flowing. As a rule, as long as the relationships I request are the focus, I’m going to be thrilled with whatever you come up with. I have received some wonderful gifts for many of these requests in the past. If I am requesting them again, it only means I am greedy and want more! (Seriously, go see my Gifts page. I have been spoiled rotten!) Don't read into some requests being longer than others. For some things, my entire request can be boiled down to, "Pretty! Want!"

Additional note about character bashing: I'm perfectly fine with canon opinions about other characters and relatable extrapolations from same. General Hux thinks Kylo Ren is an asshole in canon and he can call Kylo Ren an asshole here. Hera hates the Empire and would personally set the Emperor on fire herself given a chance. That attitude is fine to keep in a story.

These are things I'm not fond of but don't mind appearing in a story/artwork in small amounts to move the characters or plot along. Please do not use this list as some kind of checklist challenge to use one each. My likes are at the top of this letter and I love when creators use those instead!

- overuse of epithets (I don't mind stories referring to someone as "the blonde," "the tall man," or "the Jedi" if the character is a stranger to the POV character or it's relevant to the specific conversation about tall, blonde Jedi. Please use the characters' names otherwise.)
Background relationships: Anything listed in other prompts is fine in the background of another ship. Platonic relationships are fine. Mentions of canon ships or character/OC ships are fine. DNW breakup fic for Kanan/Hera. I am fine with fics set after he died and told in flashback, or with him as a Force ghost, or fix-its where he didn't die and/or they find a way to being him back. The rest of the cast is welcome to play significant roles in the story. I'm not super into angst for this pairing. A little is fine but I'd rather aim for something on the "sweet" end of "bittersweet" when possible.
- Their first months working together.
- Missing scenes from the time of the show.
- That time they got stuck in a Groundhog Day time loop for three days that lasted six months, and how they got out and how much time they spent having sex.
- That one job that started out simple and wound up them wheeling and dealing with half the criminals in the underworld, including Qi'ra, for the sake of getting a Jedi artifact or something.
- That time they banged in Ezra's old comm tower while everyone else was busy during "Flight of the Defender."
- Those times they banged in the various rooms of the ship.
- Their first time post-Malachor.
- Kanan figuring out this Force Ghost business after the fact the way Qui-Gon did, and hanging out to watch and guide.
- Were Zeb and Sabine their first attempt at building a crew, or were there others around before, and what happened?
- He's been smitten with her since the beginning, and she didn't say she loved him until the end, so how did they work around feelings, and not admitting to those feelings despite the fact that everyone around them knew?
- What was he about to tell her when Rukh attacked?
- Comedy capers where they're just hanging out having fun!
- Fix-its in which she's running the Rebellion and he's changing diapers and trying to keep Chopper from tossing the baby out through the airlock.
- Non-fix-its where his ghost is hanging out with them, making bad jokes and attempting to parent from beyond the grave.
- A Kanan (or Caleb) from another timeline shows up post-ROTJ, and the resulting angst of dealing with someone who looks like your dead ex and trying to explain it to your kid.
- Jacen accidentally time-travels (because the Force) to when Kanan is still an alcoholic loser, and has to hide who he is while making sure his father gets to Gorse on time.
- Jacen accidentally time-travels to when Kanan is fifteen and in desperate need of a caring adult in his life, and Jacen is stuck between wanting to take him in and care for him and knowing what his dad has to go through to get to be the person he will end up becoming.
I am always a sucker for parent-child interactions, whether that's when the kid is a toddler or when the kid is old enough to go off to college and/or start a family. What kinds of lessons does Jacen carry forward from his mother, from stories about his father (or in an AU where Kanan lives, things he learned from him directly)? Fanart of his baby pictures, or racy tabloid speculations about his origins, or his report cards from nursery school, or the day he brings home his first boyfriend to meet his mother and his dad's Force Ghost.
Chopper & Hera Syndulla
It’s strongly implied that Chopper was Hera’s only support when her mother died, and he’s the one friend who will never leave her. If this were an 80s movie, the pair of them would have a heartwarming relationship where he was her cuddly friend. Instead he’s an astromech who swears all the time and she’s a driven, closed-off radical intent on overthrowing the government.
- How did they grow together?
- How long did it take her to fix him up after she found him, and what kinds of trouble did the two of them get into along the way?
- What happened when she brought aboard an alcoholic drifter who was suddenly competing with Chopper for her attention?
- How bad is Chopper at babysitting while Hera is busy saving the the galaxy?
- Does he teach Jacen to swear in binary before he can walk?
- What kinds of thoughts go through his homicidal brain during a regular day?
AP-5 and the rest of the cast are more than welcome to appear.
Omega & Hera Syndulla
Omega/Hera Syndulla
My heart grew three sizes watching these two spend time together. I'd love to read about a future adventure for the two of them. Maybe a year or two later when The Batch are on a mission and need to call in a favor from some old friends. Maybe when Hera goes out into the galaxy on her own at 16 or so, she runs into Omega and they cause trouble for the Empire together, running missions, stealing from the Imperials, etc., first girlfriends? (If you want to have them meet up with other EU characters who act as friends, foes, or a complicated mix of both such as Qi'ra or Enfys Nest, this would be welcome.) Maybe post-RotJ, Rex lets his new friends know where his old ones have been conducting their own private war against the Imperials. I am fine with developing a romantic relationship between Hera and Omega post-RotJ. I am fine with trans girl Omega headcanon or not but prefer the story not focus on that past "yep, this is a thing, who wants waffles?") Maybe Omega and Hera get together after Hera has a fling with Rex and they get the awkward "You dated my brother?" conversation.
A note about this pairing: please either set it before Hera and Kanan are together or after his death, or have one of them state they are specifically in an open relationship. I don't like cheating fic or AUs where they were never together.
Hera Syndulla & Ahsoka Tano & Sabine Wren
A combination of any of my other prompts for these characters would be great. Hera stepping in to help Sabine and Ahsoka on their quest (or stepping in to stop them sniping at each other during one of their breakups). The aftermath of bringing Ezra home, and nobody knows how to fit together as a family any more until they work things out. Or, during the S2 era, Ahsoka and Hera are still working together and Sabine is struggling to fit in given the trust issues she had in S1 with Hera's secret contacts with Ahsoka. Ahsoka and Sabine playing fairy godmothers to Jacen and possibly spoiling him or teaching him even more inappropriate stuff than Chopper does while Hera's trying to keep the Rebellion together and deal with having a little kid around. Dropping the kid off with Rex or Zeb and Kallus and the three women go off on some adventure together. I just love seeing them interact.
Crosshair/Mayday
Apparently I now ship these two like it's my job. Any AU where Mayday isn't dead by the end of his first episode would be great. Any AU where it turns out they knew each other back on Kamino would also be great.
Maybe a tell-all tabloid article from the underground holo news outlet where Crosshair goes to share his story after everything, and it keeps going back to this great guy he met. Fanart about their contrasts, given how different Crosshair is from Regs, and how Mayday has grown into his own person despite being a Reg (from Crosshair's POV this is weird).
Follow up or coda to "The Return" where Crosshair goes into a little more depth about what happened. Mayday can stay dead but I wish for tasty, tasty angst about it.
Crosshair/Chopper
Two words: MURDER BROS! Slightly more words: I did how these two occupy the "monster on a leash" position for Omega and Hera, and how they're both pretty fucked up by what happened to them during and after the Clone Wars, and how sometimes dealing with your trauma means fragging stormtroopers. In short, they should be friends wading together in rivers of blood or at least being bitingly mean to the people they also love more than anyone else in the galaxy.
Crosshair & Omega
I could have spent an entire season on these two palling around trying to find Hunter and Wrecker again. Maybe their journey took them to a few other places before they found their brothers where they spent their time bickering about who Crosshair was allowed to shoot. Or, after the series, the two of them spending time together on Pabu or taking small missions together would be great. Shep needs them to pick up a case of meilooruns and they wind up playing the "trade a favor game" with half the known galaxy (pirates, smugglers, show up on Alderaan, whatever -- let the cameos go wild or not) to get the macguffin and get home again. Mainly what I want from this prompt is to watch these two interact because they are the pinnacle of Sunshine and Grumpy, and I love them.
Poe Dameron/Jacen Syndulla
Apparently this is the they-haven't-met ship that is going to eat my brain for the rest of my time in this fandom. Preference for Jacen to be Force sensitive but not a Jedi, though I could be amenable to him deciding if all the other Jedi he knows are going to have sex, he's not sticking to that rule either.
- Competing aces in the New Republic Academy who occasionally settled their constant oneupsmanship in bed?
- Long-term boyfriends driven apart by destiny?
- Canon-divergence AU where Poe left the NR and they went off to make a life together outside
- Occasional fuckbuddies who are on-board with the other seeing other people as long as he's up for some fun when they're both in town?
- I am also interested in them as snippy exes, and maybe Jacen comes back into Poe's life right as he's finally getting things worked out with Finn. (I'm fine with a Poe/Finn endgame if you want to go there as long as there's plenty of Poe/Jacen backstory.)
- Maybe Jacen shows up right after the Battle of Exegol and feelings come back hard while the rest of Team Sequels is dealing with the aftermath. (Ben can be alive or a snarky Force Ghost or absent.)
- Rey is working out a way to bring Ben back while everyone else thinks this is a terrible plan, but Finn and Poe won't let her go it alone, and Jacen is like, "Ten thousand dead Jedi and you want to bring back this jerk?" Extra bonus points for Jacen and Ben having known each other forever and hating each other's guts. Even more points for them having to set that aside to help the people they care about. (I haven't read the Poe backstory novel and I don't care to. Incorporate or ignore what you want.)
Poe Dameron/Finn/Rey/Ben Solo | Kylo Ren/Jacen Syndulla

Post-Exegol cleanup and nothing is easy when you don't manage to die for your redemption. I am here for fix-its where Ben doesn't die. I am here for stories where he does and hangs out as a snotty Force ghost only Rey can see or only Rey and Finn can see. I am here for Force ghost sex, and Force ghost fucking back to life. I am here for canon-divergence AUs where nothing was the same except they are all themselves and Ben is still a disaster human. I am here for Ben Lives! AUs where things are hard when he goes back with Rey after the end of the movie, and Poe and Finn have no reason to trust him except for their trust in Rey. Adventures after the end, big and small. Maybe Kylo doesn't kill Han and he goes back home with him during TFA, and everything is still hard because of everything he did before then. Maybe the road back to becoming Ben is difficult but Rey and Finn drag him kicking and screaming the whole way. Functional polyamory! Amusingly dysfunctional polyamory! Throw Jacen in, either as a fifth spoke in the polywheel because why not, or as Poe's overdramatic ex who shows up at the worst possible time. Rose, who at the ripe age of twentysomething is already too old for their shit but puts up with them regardless. Petty infighting and grand missions together and no one really able to chart how many of these are V poly and how many are not speaking to each other.
Tamara Ryvora/Synara San
I'm fascinated by Tam's gradual fall into working for the First Order, and my deepest regret about the show ending was not getting to see her pick herself up after the dust settled, having to deal with the things she did and choosing to go on every day.
Tam and Synara had gorgeous chemistry together early on, and I remain sad that the show dropped the ball later. They bonded early, and Tam even consented to spend leisure time with Kaz to get to hang out with Synara. Synara fought against her own shipmates to save Tam! They are due a reckoning after the events of the show, forced missions together, or even a quest of their own post-TROS that brings them together. Maybe after the war, Tam strikes out on her own as a pilot for hire, or finds work as a mechanic on the racing circuit, and meets up with Synara again a few years down the road. What I would love more than anything for these two is for them to work past the lying, the betrayals, and the hurt, and move on together. Maybe they don't speak for a year and find each other again after the war, or maybe they decide the Colossus is too small to keep their distance. Or an AU where Tam went into racing and she meets Synara on some romantic (or horrible) planet and they have space lesbian adventures together.
Poe Dameron & Finn & Rey & Tamara Ryvora & Synara San & Ben Solo | Kylo Ren & Kazuda Xiono

Slightly less messy but still entertaining as hell post-Exegol exploits with the Resistance gang! Finn and Kaz are adorable ducklings who need to spend a lot more time together. Tam and Synara have a lot to work through. The Force alone knows what Kaz, Tam, and Synara will make of the Resistance having a Jedi who happens to share a Force Bond with someone they can't trust has actually changed.
Tamara Ryvora & Finn
They should hang out, is all I am saying. They both worked for the First Order, one by choice and one by childhood abduction, and I think they would have a lot of stories to share, not all of them nice.
Rey & Tamara Ryvora & Synara San & Voe
First, Voe lives. Obviously. Rey finds out another Jedi survived Luke's school, and Synara knows a score they could all get into with the right tools, and Tam is not letting her have all the fun alone. (Torra and/or Rose can come along too if you like.) Post-Exegol cool down / slumber party / impromptu mission to a newly-discovered Sith Temple / race / creepy invitation to the head of Crimson Dawn's private planet to meet with Qi'ra about trade terms would be great to see with these characters all together.
Leia Organa/Luke Skywalker/Han Solo & Rey/Ben Solo | Kylo Ren

Nothing beats the original trio in my heart. They've been ride or die for one another ever since Artoo showed Luke that hologram, even Han by the end of the first film. I can't get enough of their lives together, crashing into one another, refusing to give up on each other even against impossible odds and bitter foes. And one day they did give up, because of their child, and oh the angst with that. I'd love to see their time together in the Rebellion, as friends or lovers or moving back and forth across that line. (I ship the component parts of the trio, too, and I'm fine with any of them as an endgame, but would prefer not to focus solely on Han/Leia or Han/Luke.) I want to see them together after the war, trying to raise Ben together. Maybe an AU where nothing goes wrong, where they figure out what's going wrong with him early and help him through, or maybe the story about the slow crawl towards the canon events despite everything. I'm also fine with a rewrite of the Sequel era where they all live all the way through. I want all the happy times before the family reveal. I want all the angsty history post-ROTJ. Luke Denying his feelings. Leia denying hers. The times denying those feelings failed. Han wanting the two people he loves most in the galaxy never ever to leave him. Accidental marriage via alien customs, with or without having to consummate it to the satisfaction of said aliens. Public poly marriage without telling anyone Luke and Leia are siblings. Secret poly marriage because the public knows they're twins. Han and Leia are married, but Luke spends every night in their bed. AU where Ben does come back with Han and the fallout isn't just what he's done, it's what he knows they did too. AU where Leia survives to the end and helps Ben turn back, and she's got these two annoying Force Ghost husbands keeping her company while they all have to figure out where to go from here. Complete AU where Ben never fell and he brings home a younger girlfriend/a fellow padawan/Darth Rey Palpatine, and they all have to deal.

I love the idea of Luke and Ezra running into each other after the war, both of them equally messed up from their experiences and finding a kindred spirit. If they bicker constantly due to conflicting world views while growing to respect each other's POV, this is a bonus. Does Ezra help Luke set up the new Jedi school, or does he think it's a terrible idea because Jedi should be taught 1:1 the way he was? Do they take a while to meet, each getting sick of hearing about the other's exploits until they're finally in the same room and decide 'Hey, he's not so bad and he's kind of cute, too.'? Do they go on Jedi-adjacent missions together, with or without Ahsoka and Sabine when they get back from their summer vacation? I'm here for it.
AU where Ezra doesn't go off with Thrawn and they're young, horny people in the Rebellion who do as young horny people often do. Ezra trying faildates with a girl exactly his age who is also very much out of his league. Getting together later, when they've all seen a little too much and it's nice to have somewhere there who really can read your mind. Maybe an AU where Ezra didn't leave and how they bicker their way into winning the war together, or how Leia introduced him to her brother after he gets home. Maybe the two of them and Leia set up the new Jedi school instead of Luke doing it alone, and everything turns out better, and nothing hurts. Hanging with Grogu. Arguing whose Padawan is the best. (Voe needs a teacher, and Leia is RIGHT THERE.) Han and Ben are welcome to show up, and any characters from Rise of Kylo Ren, or OCs. Force triplet pile (with or without Han)! Getting together later, when they've all seen a little too much and it's nice to have somewhere there who really can read your mind.
Jod Na Nawood & Jod Na Nawood's Jedi Master
Okay first, I love the entire cast, so if you want to have this as a story where Jod has reconciled with the kids and is telling them (or just Wim or Fern if he runs into one of them down the line) fine, cool, love it. So the thing about Jod is how many of us thought he might be what Kanan or Cal would turn out to be in a different life, but the reality was he's what Ezra would have been if Kanan had been killed sooner and he hadn't had the Ghost family for his support after and had been picked up by Hondo.

She wouldn't be much older than Ahsoka and not much younger than Anakin. Did she know them or were they Jedi she only heard about in dispatches from the other parts of the war? She was young and probably terrified and she still saw something in this starving kid that she felt compelled to risk exposure to teach him. I want to know about her, about the story of how the two of them met, what their training looked like so close to Order 66, and even the bad parts for how it ended. I want her story. I want their story.

This is the "Kanan makes friends!" request. I think it would be interesting if Jod had run into Kanan during Kanan's early traveling days, or coming in at opposite ends of a deal gone bad during his early days aboard the Ghost. We know Kanan can sense someone who's strong with the Force but would Jod have a moment of wondering if he knew this guy?
Space marrieds hanging out in an everybody lives AU! Chirrut and Kanan geeking out about the Force while their partners go blow up small pieces of the Empire together! Baze and Chirrut get assigned to Hera's team for a mission and they talk about Jedha and life amid the ashes the Empire leaves in its wake.
I'd love an Everybody Lives AU where Chirrut and Kanan strike up a friendship circa ANH as Chirrut's recovering and Kanan is getting used to be a new dad. Maybe there's a mission that pops up unexpectedly (something something Force macguffin or oh noes Jacen's been kidnapped by the Empire) and the two of them immediately go on the mission together without mentioning it to their spouses. Chirrut's got experience around small children due to working with the ad hoc orphanage and maybe he has unexpected baby care advice.
Chass na Chadic/Yrica Quell
Yrica is deeply flawed and I love her. I love that she was incapable of stopping herself from committing genocide until she was ordered to, and how deep her own self-loathing runs. I love that she tries her best over and over, no matter who she's working for, and runs herself to the bone as a result. I have low-key shipped her with Chass (who is another giant pile of damage, and whose rage against the galaxy is beautiful in the most metal way possible and also she should meet Sabine and Cara and the three of them can rage together) since the first novel and I punched the air when they went canon in the third book. I want to see them get together. I want the story of them twenty years into the relationship still making things work. I want them attempting and failing a drunken hookup circa the first book. Maybe they experience Accidental Grogu/other baby Acquisition and have to manage. Maybe they get a call from Wyl and go on one more adventure to rescue Kairos from something terrible, or rescue Nath from himself, or Hera gives them a call for a mission of her own to help Sabine and Ahsoka track down Ezra, or babysit Jacen.
Luke Skywalker & Ben Solo & Tai & Voe & Hennix & Grogu & Jacen Syndulla
All I want from my life is various iterations of Luke Skywalker having to deal with a pile of grody superpowered teenagers (and whatever life stage Grogu is, could be Yoda-version of a teen, could still be a toddler, run with whatever you want - Grogu or Jacen or both can be the kid who shows up for two weeks every year for Jedi Summer Camp). There will be arguments and power struggles and first crushes and jealousy (go wild for the pairings in this one but please do not involve Grogu in any sexual situations regardless of his age). I love it all. If you want to go AU and put Rey and/or Finn and/or Jannah in there as students too, that's fine; I don't care much about the timeline and do abide by the Rule of Funny. Also Luke can be off-screen for the entire work or can be heavily involved playing both teacher and referee, either's fine. Maybe he has to leave the students alone for a few days while he's off on another quest with Lor San Tekka or he's acting as Leia's bodyguard for a particularly difficult situation and Ben can deal with the angst that he's not there with his mom and is stuck here with the other kids. The kids get stuck in a time loop. The kids are learning meditation and one of them accidentally unleashes a Dark Being From Beyond Time and they know Luke is going to be really mad if they tell him so they agree to the terrible idea of not telling him and dealing with it themselves. Luke decides the Jedi are supposed to be graceful diplomats and takes them on a mission to some posh get-together and this turns out exactly as badly as you would expect. Bringing in other characters like Han, Leia, Din, Ezra, Hera, or Poe would be very welcome. (Please no Force-sensitive Din, Poe, or Hera. I love them the way they are.)
Some of this is copied from previous letters, and I am also happy with what I asked for in my previous letters. I am very easy to please. Think of the prompts as vague suggestions to get your ideas flowing. As a rule, as long as the relationships I request are the focus, I’m going to be thrilled with whatever you come up with. A little is fine but I'd rather aim for something on the "sweet" end of "bittersweet" when possible.

I am always a sucker for parent-child interactions, whether that's when the kid is a toddler or when the kid is old enough to go off to college and/or start a family. What kinds of lessons does Jacen carry forward from his mother, from stories about his father (or in an AU where Kanan lives, things he learned from him directly)? Fanart of his baby pictures, or racy tabloid speculations about his origins, or his report cards from nursery school, or the day he brings home his first boyfriend to meet his mother and his dad's Force Ghost.
Chopper & Hera Syndulla
It’s strongly implied that Chopper was Hera’s only support when her mother died, and he’s the one friend who will never leave her. If this were an 80s movie, the pair of them would have a heartwarming relationship where he was her cuddly friend. Instead he’s an astromech who swears all the time and she’s a driven, closed-off radical intent on overthrowing the government.
- How did they grow together?
- How long did it take her to fix him up after she found him, and what kinds of trouble did the two of them get into along the way?
- What happened when she brought aboard an alcoholic drifter who was suddenly competing with Chopper for her attention?
- How bad is Chopper at babysitting while Hera is busy saving the the galaxy?

My heart grew three sizes watching these two spend time together. I'd love to read about a future adventure for the two of them. Maybe a year or two later when The Batch are on a mission and need to call in a favor from some old friends. Maybe when Hera goes out into the galaxy on her own at 16 or so, she runs into Omega and they cause trouble for the Empire together, running missions, stealing from the Imperials, etc., first girlfriends? (If you want to have them meet up with other EU characters who act as friends, foes, or a complicated mix of both such as Qi'ra or Enfys Nest, this would be welcome.) Maybe post-RotJ, Rex lets his new friends know where his old ones have been conducting their own private war against the Imperials. I am fine with developing a romantic relationship between Hera and Omega post-RotJ. I am fine with trans girl Omega headcanon or not but prefer the story not focus on that past "yep, this is a thing, who wants waffles?") Maybe Omega and Hera get together after Hera has a fling with Rex and they get the awkward "You dated my brother?" conversation.
A note about this pairing: please either set it before Hera and Kanan are together or after his death, or have one of them state they are specifically in an open relationship. I don't like cheating fic or AUs where they were never together.
Hera Syndulla & Ahsoka Tano & Sabine Wren
A combination of any of my other prompts for these characters would be great. Hera stepping in to help Sabine and Ahsoka on their quest (or stepping in to stop them sniping at each other during one of their breakups). The aftermath of bringing Ezra home, and nobody knows how to fit together as a family any more until they work things out. Or, during the S2 era, Ahsoka and Hera are still working together and Sabine is struggling to fit in given the trust issues she had in S1 with Hera's secret contacts with Ahsoka. Ahsoka and Sabine playing fairy godmothers to Jacen and possibly spoiling him or teaching him even more inappropriate stuff than Chopper does while Hera's trying to keep the Rebellion together and deal with having a little kid around. Dropping the kid off with Rex or Zeb and Kallus and the three women go off on some adventure together. I just love seeing them interact.
Crosshair/Mayday
Apparently I now ship these two like it's my job. Any AU where Mayday isn't dead by the end of his first episode would be great. Any AU where it turns out they knew each other back on Kamino would also be great.
Maybe a tell-all tabloid article from the underground holo news outlet where Crosshair goes to share his story after everything, and it keeps going back to this great guy he met. Fanart about their contrasts, given how different Crosshair is from Regs, and how Mayday has grown into his own person despite being a Reg (from Crosshair's POV this is weird).
Follow up or coda to "The Return" where Crosshair goes into a little more depth about what happened. Mayday can stay dead but I wish for tasty, tasty angst about it.
Crosshair/Chopper
Two words: MURDER BROS! Slightly more words: I did how these two occupy the "monster on a leash" position for Omega and Hera, and how they're both pretty fucked up by what happened to them during and after the Clone Wars, and how sometimes dealing with your trauma means fragging stormtroopers. In short, they should be friends wading together in rivers of blood or at least being bitingly mean to the people they also love more than anyone else in the galaxy.
Crosshair & Omega
I could have spent an entire season on these two palling around trying to find Hunter and Wrecker again. Maybe their journey took them to a few other places before they found their brothers where they spent their time bickering about who Crosshair was allowed to shoot. Or, after the series, the two of them spending time together on Pabu or taking small missions together would be great. Shep needs them to pick up a case of meilooruns and they wind up playing the "trade a favor game" with half the known galaxy (pirates, smugglers, show up on Alderaan, whatever -- let the cameos go wild or not) to get the macguffin and get home again. Mainly what I want from this prompt is to watch these two interact because they are the pinnacle of Sunshine and Grumpy, and I love them.
Poe Dameron/Jacen Syndulla
Apparently this is the they-haven't-met ship that is going to eat my brain for the rest of my time in this fandom. Preference for Jacen to be Force sensitive but not a Jedi, though I could be amenable to him deciding if all the other Jedi he knows are going to have sex, he's not sticking to that rule either.
- Competing aces in the New Republic Academy who occasionally settled their constant oneupsmanship in bed?
- Long-term boyfriends driven apart by destiny?
- Canon-divergence AU where Poe left the NR and they went off to make a life together outside
- Occasional fuckbuddies who are on-board with the other seeing other people as long as he's up for some fun when they're both in town?
- I am also interested in them as snippy exes, and maybe Jacen comes back into Poe's life right as he's finally getting things worked out with Finn. (I'm fine with a Poe/Finn endgame if you want to go there as long as there's plenty of Poe/Jacen backstory.)
- Maybe Jacen shows up right after the Battle of Exegol and feelings come back hard while the rest of Team Sequels is dealing with the aftermath. (Ben can be alive or a snarky Force Ghost or absent.)
- Rey is working out a way to bring Ben back while everyone else thinks this is a terrible plan, but Finn and Poe won't let her go it alone, and Jacen is like, "Ten thousand dead Jedi and you want to bring back this jerk?" Extra bonus points for Jacen and Ben having known each other forever and hating each other's guts. Even more points for them having to set that aside to help the people they care about. (I haven't read the Poe backstory novel and I don't care to. Incorporate or ignore what you want.)

Post-Exegol cleanup and nothing is easy when you don't manage to die for your redemption. I am here for fix-its where Ben doesn't die. I am here for stories where he does and hangs out as a snotty Force ghost only Rey can see or only Rey and Finn can see. I am here for Force ghost sex, and Force ghost fucking back to life. I am here for canon-divergence AUs where nothing was the same except they are all themselves and Ben is still a disaster human. I am here for Ben Lives! AUs where things are hard when he goes back with Rey after the end of the movie, and Poe and Finn have no reason to trust him except for their trust in Rey. Adventures after the end, big and small. Maybe Kylo doesn't kill Han and he goes back home with him during TFA, and everything is still hard because of everything he did before then. Maybe the road back to becoming Ben is difficult but Rey and Finn drag him kicking and screaming the whole way. Functional polyamory! Amusingly dysfunctional polyamory! Throw Jacen in, either as a fifth spoke in the polywheel because why not, or as Poe's overdramatic ex who shows up at the worst possible time. Rose, who at the ripe age of twentysomething is already too old for their shit but puts up with them regardless. Petty infighting and grand missions together and no one really able to chart how many of these are V poly and how many are not speaking to each other.
Tamara Ryvora/Synara San
I'm fascinated by Tam's gradual fall into working for the First Order, and my deepest regret about the show ending was not getting to see her pick herself up after the dust settled, having to deal with the things she did and choosing to go on every day.
Tam and Synara had gorgeous chemistry together early on, and I remain sad that the show dropped the ball later. They bonded early, and Tam even consented to spend leisure time with Kaz to get to hang out with Synara. Synara fought against her own shipmates to save Tam! They are due a reckoning after the events of the show, forced missions together, or even a quest of their own post-TROS that brings them together. Maybe after the war, Tam strikes out on her own as a pilot for hire, or finds work as a mechanic on the racing circuit, and meets up with Synara again a few years down the road. What I would love more than anything for these two is for them to work past the lying, the betrayals, and the hurt, and move on together. Maybe they don't speak for a year and find each other again after the war, or maybe they decide the Colossus is too small to keep their distance. Or an AU where Tam went into racing and she meets Synara on some romantic (or horrible) planet and they have space lesbian adventures together.

The Force alone knows what Kaz, Tam, and Synara will make of the Resistance having a Jedi who happens to share a Force Bond with someone they can't trust has actually changed.

They should hang out, is all I am saying. They both worked for the First Order, one by choice and one by childhood abduction, and I think they would have a lot of stories to share, not all of them nice.
Rey & Tamara Ryvora & Synara San & Voe
First, Voe lives. Obviously. Rey finds out another Jedi survived Luke's school, and Synara knows a score they could all get into with the right tools, and Tam is not letting her have all the fun alone. (Torra and/or Rose can come along too if you like.) Post-Exegol cool down / slumber party / impromptu mission to a newly-discovered Sith Temple / race / creepy invitation to the head of Crimson Dawn's private planet to meet with Qi'ra about trade terms would be great to see with these characters all together.

Nothing beats the original trio in my heart. They've been ride or die for one another ever since Artoo showed Luke that hologram, even Han by the end of the first film. I can't get enough of their lives together, crashing into one another, refusing to give up on each other even against impossible odds and bitter foes. And one day they did give up, because of their child, and oh the angst with that. I'd love to see their time together in the Rebellion, as friends or lovers or moving back and forth across that line. (I ship the component parts of the trio, too, and I'm fine with any of them as an endgame, but would prefer not to focus solely on Han/Leia or Han/Luke.) I want to see them together after the war, trying to raise Ben together. Maybe an AU where nothing goes wrong, where they figure out what's going wrong with him early and help him through, or maybe the story about the slow crawl towards the canon events despite everything. I'm also fine with a rewrite of the Sequel era where they all live all the way through. I want all the happy times before the family reveal. I want all the angsty history post-ROTJ. Luke Denying his feelings. Leia denying hers. The times denying those feelings failed. Han wanting the two people he loves most in the galaxy never ever to leave him. Accidental marriage via alien customs, with or without having to consummate it to the satisfaction of said aliens. Public poly marriage without telling anyone Luke and Leia are siblings. Secret poly marriage because the public knows they're twins. Han and Leia are married, but Luke spends every night in their bed. AU where Ben does come back with Han and the fallout isn't just what he's done, it's what he knows they did too. AU where Leia survives to the end and helps Ben turn back, and she's got these two annoying Force Ghost husbands keeping her company while they all have to figure out where to go from here. I love the idea of Luke and Ezra running into each other after the war, both of them equally messed up from their experiences and finding a kindred spirit. If they bicker constantly due to conflicting world views while growing to respect each other's POV, this is a bonus. Does Ezra help Luke set up the new Jedi school, or does he think it's a terrible idea because Jedi should be taught 1:1 the way he was? Do they take a while to meet, each getting sick of hearing about the other's exploits until they're finally in the same room and decide 'Hey, he's not so bad and he's kind of cute, too.'? Do they go on Jedi-adjacent missions together, with or without Ahsoka and Sabine when they get back from their summer vacation? I'm here for it.
AU where Ezra doesn't go off with Thrawn and they're young, horny people in the Rebellion who do as young horny people often do. Ezra trying faildates with a girl exactly his age who is also very much out of his league. Getting together later, when they've all seen a little too much and it's nice to have somewhere there who really can read your mind. Maybe an AU where Ezra didn't leave and how they bicker their way into winning the war together, or how Leia introduced him to her brother after he gets home. Maybe the two of them and Leia set up the new Jedi school instead of Luke doing it alone, and everything turns out better, and nothing hurts. Hanging with Grogu. Arguing whose Padawan is the best. (Voe needs a teacher, and Leia is RIGHT THERE.) Han and Ben are welcome to show up, and any characters from Rise of Kylo Ren, or OCs. Force triplet pile (with or without Han)! Okay first, I love the entire cast, so if you want to have this as a story where Jod has reconciled with the kids and is telling them (or just Wim or Fern if he runs into one of them down the line) fine, cool, love it. So the thing about Jod is how many of us thought he might be what Kanan or Cal would turn out to be in a different life, but the reality was he's what Ezra would have been if Kanan had been killed sooner and he hadn't had the Ghost family for his support after and had been picked up by Hondo.

She was young and probably terrified and she still saw something in this starving kid that she felt compelled to risk exposure to teach him. I want to know about her, about the story of how the two of them met, what their training looked like so close to Order 66, and even the bad parts for how it ended. I want her story. I want their story.

This is the "Kanan makes friends!" request. I think it would be interesting if Jod had run into Kanan during Kanan's early traveling days, or coming in at opposite ends of a deal gone bad during his early days aboard the Ghost. We know Kanan can sense someone who's strong with the Force but would Jod have a moment of wondering if he knew this guy?
Space marrieds hanging out in an everybody lives AU! Chirrut and Kanan geeking out about the Force while their partners go blow up small pieces of the Empire together! Baze and Chirrut get assigned to Hera's team for a mission and they talk about Jedha and life amid the ashes the Empire leaves in its wake.
I'd love an Everybody Lives AU where Chirrut and Kanan strike up a friendship circa ANH as Chirrut's recovering and Kanan is getting used to be a new dad. Maybe there's a mission that pops up unexpectedly (something something Force macguffin or oh noes Jacen's been kidnapped by the Empire) and the two of them immediately go on the mission together without mentioning it to their spouses. Chirrut's got experience around small children due to working with the ad hoc orphanage and maybe he has unexpected baby care advice.

Yrica is deeply flawed and I love her. I love that she was incapable of stopping herself from committing genocide until she was ordered to, and how deep her own self-loathing runs. I love that she tries her best over and over, no matter who she's working for, and runs herself to the bone as a result. I have low-key shipped her with Chass (who is another giant pile of damage, and whose rage against the galaxy is beautiful in the most metal way possible and also she should meet Sabine and Cara and the three of them can rage together) since the first novel and I punched the air when they went canon in the third book. I want to see them get together. I want the story of them twenty years into the relationship still making things work. I want them attempting and failing a drunken hookup circa the first book. Maybe they experience Accidental Grogu/other baby Acquisition and have to manage. Maybe they get a call from Wyl and go on one more adventure to rescue Kairos from something terrible, or rescue Nath from himself, or Hera gives them a call for a mission of her own to help Sabine and Ahsoka track down Ezra, or babysit Jacen.
Luke Skywalker & Ben Solo & Tai & Voe & Hennix & Grogu & Jacen Syndulla
All I want from my life is various iterations of Luke Skywalker having to deal with a pile of grody superpowered teenagers (and whatever life stage Grogu is, could be Yoda-version of a teen, could still be a toddler, run with whatever you want - Grogu or Jacen or both can be the kid who shows up for two weeks every year for Jedi Summer Camp). There will be arguments and power struggles and first crushes and jealousy (go wild for the pairings in this one but please do not involve Grogu in any sexual situations regardless of his age). I love it all. If you want to go AU and put Rey and/or Finn and/or Jannah in there as students too, that's fine; I don't care much about the timeline and do abide by the Rule of Funny. Also Luke can be off-screen for the entire work or can be heavily involved playing both teacher and referee, either's fine. Maybe he has to leave the students alone for a few days while he's off on another quest with Lor San Tekka or he's acting as Leia's bodyguard for a particularly difficult situation and Ben can deal with the angst that he's not there with his mom and is stuck here with the other kids. The kids get stuck in a time loop. The kids are learning meditation and one of them accidentally unleashes a Dark Being From Beyond Time and they know Luke is going to be really mad if they tell him so they agree to the terrible idea of not telling him and dealing with it themselves. Luke decides the Jedi are supposed to be graceful diplomats and takes them on a mission to some posh get-together and this turns out exactly as badly as you would expect. Bringing in other characters like Han, Leia, Din, Ezra, Hera, or Poe would be very welcome. (Please no Force-sensitive Din, Poe, or Hera. I love them the way they are.)
