Just Married 2023 Letter

Some of this is copied from previous letters, and I am also happy with what I asked for in my previous letters. I am very easy to please. Think of the prompts as vague suggestions to get your ideas flowing. As a rule, as long as the relationships I request are the focus, I’m going to be thrilled with whatever you come up with. Some of these ideas may lend themselves to longer fics or more complicated images than you have time for. I am 100% on board with a short scene that's part of the larger picture.
I have received some wonderful gifts for many of these requests in the past. If I am requesting them again, it only means I am greedy and want more! (Seriously, go see my Gifts page. I have been spoiled rotten!) Don't read into some requests being longer than others. For some things, my entire request can be boiled down to, "Pretty! Want!"

My line for enjoying sex pollen/AMTDI/TFMTDI is based on how much trauma the characters feel. I prefer situations where they aren’t traumatized or upset and use the aliens/Force/pollen as an excuse for what they both/all wanted.

I love the idea of Hera moving on with someone who is a good, kind person like Rex, someone who has seen a lot of the same troubles through life and kept going, and I think it would heal Rex's heart to help raise a Jedi child by her side.
Hera doesn't want to get feelings involved ever again because she doesn't want another broken heart. That doesn't mean she won't get feelings anyway but they're not in her plan. Rex has admired her for years but there are chain of command issues. They both can have angst because of the dead guy in the room, real ghost or imagined. She can angst wondering if this is the best thing for her heart or her child. He can angst because clones aren't supposed to do relationships any more than Jedi are. His time is getting shorter by the minute, and is it fair to her, or to Jacen, to make this permanent if he can only offer a couple of years? (I like angst.) Weird Twi'lek wedding rituals. Clone wedding rituals Rex and his brothers have had to work out for themselves over the years. Meeting the in-laws (all ten million of them). Zeb and Kallus throw Rex a bachelor's party, and this goes exactly as well as you'd expect. Rex throws Zeb and Kallus their bachelor party and wakes up in the morning with a hangover and engaged to his general.

I love all permutations of this ship, from everyone in the Rebellion assuming they're married when they aren't, to actually they've technically been married ever since they pulled that one job, and they don't talk about it. (Hera's convinced it doesn't count because the ship's captain was reading the spec manual; Kanan was more than a little intoxicated at the time and can't remember if they wound up in bed afterwards with the captain and the Wookiee too, and he doesn't want to know.) Maybe he lives and they get hitched on Yavin, or after the war. Or, they finally get around to getting married after he has shrugged off this mortal coil, option for other Force ghosts to show up. Weird Twi'lek wedding traditions. Digging up ancient Jedi wedding traditions no one knew existed until Kananmade them up found them. Pretending to be married for a con job / oops it's legal. I'm also up for one of the women (or guys, I headcanon Kanan as more bi than he admits to himself until oops, there's Rex's dick in his mouth) Kanan knew back in his wandering days showing up to say he's already married (cue drunken night he doesn't remember).

I love these two and I am here for all their various semi-crime spree shenanigans as they work with the Resistance, or after Exegol when they go out on their own. I love how much angst there is to work through between them, between The Pirate Thing and The First Order Thing. Maybe an AU where the NR never fell and they meet up on the racing circuit? Maybe Tam's home planet has very specific wedding customs, and Mirialans have very different ones which Synara may or may not want to have anything to do with?

I love the idea that these two knew each other when they were younger, be that as kids or meeting at the Academy, and I'd love it if there were lingering feelings (both the good and bad kind are fine) when they meet up again later. (Preference for Jacen to be Force-sensitive but not a Jedi.) That time they got drunk and accidentally hitched when they were young (this was the basis for one of my all time favorite gifts written for this very exchange and yet I wish to read takes on it again and again forever), or that blurted proposal over the comms that one's decided to take the other up on now, or five times they failed to get married and one time Poe married Finn instead. (Am fine with them not working out long term and Poe winding up with Finn. Am also fine with the two of them getting married and spending the rest of their lives together.) Or go the complete AU route: arranged marriages, political marriages, had to get married because someone got knocked up (I'm not an A/B/O fan but I love old-fashioned mpreg), weird Twi'lek wedding traditions (some of which Jacen makes up on the spot which Poe may or may not figure out).
Note that for this pairing, I am find with the story ending with them breaking up for a future Finn/Poe relationship, but only if the majority of the story focuses on the requested pairing.
